Did you know you can make wine from almost any fruit? In addition to grapes you can use watermelon, citrus fruits, peaches, berries, even bananas! The fruit lends its flavors and adds depth and aromas to the wine.
Do you like sweet wine? Try using a sweet kit like our Orchard Breezin Strawberry White Zinfandel or Blackberry Merlot. If a dryer wine is your preference try our En Primeur Chilean Carmenere or Austrailian Chardonnay. Both offer a fuller bodied wine with hints of berries. We have plenty of other kits to offer to match anyone’s wine preference.
Did you know we are now a wine making center? That’s right you can come in, select your wine kit and prepare the wine for fermentation. We’ll store it in our fermentation room for you. When you return in about 2-3 weeks, we’ll show you how to rack and clear the wine. The final step is bottling, corking and labeling – all done on premise. This not only makes for extremely affordable wine, but you don’t have to buy any extra equipment or find the space in your home to properly store the wine during fermentation.
We have classes starting regularly so make plans now. Call Jack at 252-764-0403 to reserve your spot in our next class.
